SMA PAO is missed. When I was getting down with army stuff and things, sometimes there was a ray of hope shining through with SMA PAO commenting on some reddit post. Encourage soldiers to seek help when things start to feel off, not just when they’re full-blown depressed or suicidal. You have to realize the deep psychological impact of the beard policy. As SMA one is tasked with solving problems. General problems. Cultural problems. I am constantly in disbelief that we have the SMA and his PAO as active members of our online forum, and they actually care, listen, and solve problems. Whoever you are, thank you for fighting the good fight over the nonsense our Soldiers have to deal with.
